Excellent last minute stay

Excellent Stay! Warm welcome and good introduction to accomodation. Equiped unit if you choose to self cater or use delivery service. Peacefull garden with small pool. Breakfast was also tasty.

Comfortable but LOUD

The rooms were clean and pleasant, the staff were attentive and very friendly, and the breakfasts were delicious, however the room I stayed in had two adjoining rooms and were not soundproofed at all, so any noise from those rooms - even normal speaking level - could be heard clear as day. I would advise staying here, but specifically requesting NOT to be put in any of these rooms.

Goed guesthouse als je Pretoria bezoekt!

Goed guesthouse in veilige buurt als je pretoria bezoekt of stage loopt in het Steve biko hospitaal. Zitten inderdaad veel stagiaires die daar een stage lopen zoals medische studenten die een buitenlandstage doen!

Reasonable

We specifically booked a room with air-conditioning but was given a room without. Only after insisting that our original booking was for an air-conditioned room, were we given one. The new room was actually a 4-room self-catering apartment which was nice, but the single air-conditioner in the kitchen just could not cool down the entire place and we had a hot and uncomfortable sleep. The TV's reception was rather pathetic and the advertised satellite TV service consisted of 3 movie and a couple of sport channels. Breakfast was reasonable.

Heads UP!

First time in Africa! I got lucky and picked a great place on a nice street. The guest house is in walking distance of the U.S. Embassy, University of Pretoria, shopping, dining, and the zoo. If you catch the Gautrain from OR Tambo Hatfield station is closer to the guest house than Pretoria station. Staff is very friendly.
