I stayed in a room with two other people. For the price that we paid, it was a great experience with nice accommodations (pool, tv, breakfast). The staff was friendly and super helpful when we needed assistance. The location was a little far from the places we wanted to visit, but that wasn't a problem.

I was very positiviley surprised with Fern - Ecotel, as I never heard of them beforehand, and it turned out it is one of the coolest and trendy hotels in Jaipur!!! nicely decorated, modern but still keeping plenty of traditional Indian elements, it is much more exciting than the general hotels likes Marriott, Starwood etc. It is closely situated to airport (few mins by taxi), to JLN big road to Pink City and the World trade Park and Gaurav Tower shopping malls, also not far from Birla...

This haveli with its beautiful garden makes a perfect base to explore Jaipur.There is a roof top terrace where you can sit and read and there is the added bonus of excellent Wi-Fi and you are able to receive Western News channels through the television.The staff are friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere of the hotel is of relaxed friendliness.There is also the added bonus of an excellent cafe within the hotel which serves vegetarian food at a very reasonable cost.

Excellent stay at this traditional Indian guest house. Rooms were quiet, cool and comfortable and they have a very nice roof terrace overlooking Jaipur’s rooftops and up towards the Tiger Fort. They serve ice cold beer on the terrace which is very welcome as not many places in Jaipur sell alcohol. We loved staying at the Umaid Mahal. It has an Indian charm and most helpful staff. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop terrace for drinks and dinner. Local music and dancers added a pleasant atmosphere. It was simple to get taxis and transport from the hotel to anywhere. Everything about our 4 night stay was perfect. From our train station pick-up (even though our train was 6 hours late), the room, the food and organising a trip to the Amber Fort and Monkey Temple they couldn't have been more helpful.
