Housekeeping was missed 4 times. I extended my stay 2 times and they missed the housekeeping the check in day, although I reported the first time to management. I called twice to replenish shampoo and soap dispensers. One day towels were not replaced. Found a roach two times

We had to be moved to another room because the air conditioning where we were stopped working. Then the second room which was mostly cleaned, had an iron, hair dryer and dishwasher which were out of order. There was a foul smell coming out of the dishwasher. Also, we were advised that garbage would be taken out each day but this was not our experience. Tg staff are excellent and so was the maintenance manager and we were attended very promptly. This is such a convenient location. I hope that close attention is paid to maintenance and cleaning to ensure top service and good health for everyone.

I was given a handicap room that smelled like a nursing home. The hallways are dark and gloomy. The room had a door that lead outside with no knob just a key entry from the inside . I didn’t see a cameras on the side entrance where I entered , the hallway only the front office. The front desk guy was nice but I would not recommend the handicap rooms. This hotel is also felt secluded away from lighted streets or restaurants next to a wooded area.

I appreciated the upgrade to a Pure Suite with an advanced air purifier and filtered shower water. However, the suite was still old, and my allergies still bothered me. I really appreciate what Marriott is doing for allergy sufferers, but I don't think you will be successful in just converting old rooms and advertising them as allergy-free. It doesn't work like that. If there is mold in the shower (one of the lower tiles was broken and exposed to water) or the AC unit itself does not have mold in it, people like me will still have problems. Additionally, the Air Purifier started making a weird noise in the middle of the nigh and I suspect that it was creating ozone to make the room smell a little nicer and possibly neutralize some mold. Again, the advanced air purifier was a nice touch (cheap air purifiers often don't even remove mold at all) but if it is going to disrupt sleep, there is no point. Similarly, the bathroom fan was incredibly loud. It was nice to have it to keep moisture in the bathroom low and therefore limit any kind of musty smell or mold growth. But it was so loud that I had to turn it off sooner than I would have like in order to go to sleep. You could have included a squeegee in the shower and I would have gladly used it to speed the process up. In the previous Residence Inn I stayed at, a squeegee was included, and everything was much newer and nicer. In the end, I've concluded that "old means mold" no matter what.

The staff was very nice but you can see the frustration they all had..a lot of things went wrong for our stay…lights kept going out, microwave was also going out..had to keep opening the fuse box in the room to click the fuses back on..never had to do this before ever…room was not cleaned..towels were not replaced and when they were it wasn’t enough! I would make a suggestion..absolutely nothing wrong with housing animals but maybe consider housing residents with animals in a certain building..upon arrival we had a couch that had dried up urine and hair all over the couch..(we cleaned it up) no one came after we went back to front desk..bugs!!!! I believe Marriott can do better
