The staff at this hotel went above and beyond. Everyone was so kind. The hotel went out of their way to make our anniversary memorable. They gave us a complimentary cake and it was lovely. The spa was amazing too. Definitely recommend this hotel for your stay or just to relax!

I recently stayed at this well-known 5-star hotel chain during my trip to and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. While the hotel boasted all the amenities one would expect from a major brand, including luxurious accommodations and top-notch facilities, several aspects of my stay left much to be desired. Furthermore, despite the hotel's reputation, the overall ambiance felt somewhat lacking, lacking the warmth and charm that one would hope for in a luxury hotel. Additionally, the price I paid for my stay did not align with the quality of service and accommodations provided. Overall, while the hotel had the trappings of a 5-star experience, the execution fell short, leaving me feeling disappointed and unlikely to return in the future.

Thia was my second visit in 2023 to this hotel. Great location and facilities. The only improvement could be heating the swimming pool as very cold and the shuttle bus could be more frequent with drops and pick ups every 30 minutes with earlier start times and later pick ups from Takism area.

Great hotel, pretty good location.
Hotel with amazing front desk staff. Arrived for a one night stay during a stop over in Istanbul, arrived before the check-in time but they immediately offered the room, which was excellent. Room very comfortable and silent. Not very close to the main attractions for tourist in Istanbul, but close enough for me. Would book this hotel again.

If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, this is not the place for you. The smell is everywhere throughout the hotel. The location is not convenient to the major touristy sites either.

First visit to Istanbul with my wife. Had a wonderful time from day one . Check in was quick and our requests were met . Excellent breakfast and as we stayed half board, the chef made few surprising little dishes for us most nights and we enjoyed the evening meals . Although we could have walked to Taksim, the shuttle coach to Taksim made life a lot easier. There was everything in Taksim, public transport, tram, shopping etc. we used public transport which was a little complicated but a lovely young student by the name of Jude came to our rescue and off we went, stress free and enjoyed public transport for the rest of the holiday. Language can be a challenge but with a smile communication became easier.

many of the staff could not speak English to help English-speaking customers. I know it is arrogant of me as a Canadian to expect staff to understand English in any foreign country, but it is the language of business world-wide. So, for Sheraton city center Istanbul to continue to compete, staff should speak and understand the prominent language of the business world.
