"Very nice hotel, the staff was always very kind and helpful, they gave lots of info on the surroundings (and on the bus, which is not easily understandable for a tourist). The single room was actually a bit bigger than I expected from the pictures, which was good, perfectly enough for a single traveler. "Great hotel in a perfect location, 10-15 min walk to the port where you can catch the ferries and buses. Direct beach access and you can leave your things on the loungers by the hotel pool while enjoying the ocean. The caps for the pool were a bit odd as most guests have more body hair than hair on their head but the beach has no restrictions. Breakfast buffet was incredible with 10+ freshly baked options (cakes, pies, croissants and cornetto, cookies, quiches, and more), eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, delicious coffee. Katia from the front desk was fantastic giving many local recommendations, helping us navigate the island with the best bus options, and creating the perfect day visiting the beach, saint angelo, and forio."

"This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The staff was incredible, and the property was incredibly clean. Between the pool and swimming area I feel like I could’ve stayed an extra day without even leaving the property. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Continental Mare and look forward to returning again. We would very much recommend a stay at an outstanding Hotel on beautiful Ischia. The hotel is situated in easy access to the main town and its shops and restaurants, along with travel around the rest of the island. The hotel facilities are excellent with pools and easy access to a private beach and its sun loungers. Whilst the staff are friendly and always ready to help or advise. The room (Garden Junior Suite) we had was very comfortable, always kept clean and with marvellous air conditioning, which was welcome in the summer heat. The restaurant served a good selection for breakfast and when we ate there in the evening the food was delicious. With an unbroken and glorious view over the Bay of Naples to the mainland it was a perfect setting, especially when the sun was setting. The grounds and general amenities are very well maintained by the hotels staff as they quietly go about their business."
