"We absolutely loved our stay at the beautiful Hotel Torre Sant'Angelo! This family-run, charming hotel has the most beautiful view imaginable. We loved the delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds, amazing pools, and nearby Sorgeto Beach. Pietro and Umberto were incredibly helpful with planning our day, restaurant and beach recommendations, and lifts to town. We cannot wait to return one day to the island of Ischia and especially to this beautiful sport."

"Best free breakfast we had on our trip. Bottomless mimosas, great cappucinos, 5-star view. This place is excellent value for your money. Staff was really nice and went out of their way to help us. Room was nice and clean and everyone gets a gorgeous ocean view. Only downside: it's a 15 min walk from restaurants, and the onsite restaurant needs to be booked in advance, so plan ahead. "Not as touristy as the neighbouring islands, but well worthwhile for 3 days, even longer if you just want peace and quiet and enjoy the local life. Picturesque harbour,marina with excellent bars and restaurants. There are local buses, but the island is small, so walking is no problem if you are fit, and able to dodge the cars,scooters and bicycles, even electric ones . Funny but the locals do not seem to be worried about the traffic at all! One minor problem was returning one evening and...

"It was only a 10 minute level walk to the ferry port. Room was very nice with a balcony facing the sea. We had many food options nearby and the historical areas were just a short walk away. Breakfast was very good, served on a terrace overlooking the sea. I highly recommend but if you have trouble with stairs, it is a 3 flight walk up to the room."

"We went to Miramare for our 1 week honeymoon and loved every second of it. The room had a perfect balcony overlooking the sea, and makes for a perfect morning coffee spot. The breakfast is delicious with lots of fresh, local foods and gluten free alternatives. The thermal baths are therapeutic and calm, with different temperatures. Also it has private beach access, and great lunch options. All of the staff we came across were really pleasant and welcoming. Sant’Angelo is a quaint area with many restaurants and a wine bar. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"VERY DISAPPOINTED with our room. We spent over $2000 for three nights for an ocean view room and the only way to see the ocean was physically going out on our deck. Very misleading. We asked for a better room and they offered us one looking at another building with the sea behind it. The best part of the stay was the great staff at breakfast and the beach. The pool area is dark and dingy and the hotel seems to cater to those over 70 years. We know it's the off season but it wasn't a fun experience for our family. We do not recommend staying here if you have children or want a true ocean view. Also my daughter woke up with strange bug bites all over her body."
