We travel a lot and spend a lot on our hotels! For the fee we paid its was very disappointing. Firstly we could hear the people in the room next to us, it was like the walls were paper thin! I understand it is an older establishment but there is NO excuse for us to be able to hear the conversations like they were standing in our room. They were talking at normal levels it is just the noise carried. Secondly the lock on the door is a push in lock. I understand it is luxury hotel classification but we travel with a lot of items of value leaving our room with a push lock is very concerning. Staff were very kind and breakfast was good. Also the key fob for the room is very antiquated it is a long 4” hard plastic unit you must take with you and place into wall to get power to your room
