Everything was very perfect and as mentioned!! Great stay !!

We were met by our host at approximately 8 pm on the first night of our stay. We had provided an approximate time beforehand to help. We were then given the tour, which was extremely helpful. We loved the room - so clean and spacious with en-suite and the sea view was breathtaking. The new bath was very much welcomed, although we just used the superb walk-in shower provided during our stay. There were nice additional touches in the room, e.g. some whiskey to sample, tooth picks, cotton...

You will not find better in oban quite simply amazing hostess and the views are stunning worth every penny ........ 11 out of ten

Wonderful greeting and welcoming from Darren and Karen. Perfect instructions, their local knowledge and enthusiasm and love for the area is limitless. The accommodation is superb, location is very central to some of the most historical and beautiful, silent areas.The choice of breakfast? ..I guarantee you wouldn’t get the choice of cereals, jam’s etc anywhere else.. Clean spacious room. very unique modern cabins

Very well presented property, stunning surroundings. Communication from the owner was very poor, no response to any messages prior to my stay and I had to ring to find out which cabin I was stopping in and how to collect my keys. This was by far the most expensive accommodation I’ve booked while working in and around the whole of Scotland for the last 3 year and I would have expected the check in to be flawless for the price paid.

Lovely location, staff very helpful and kind. Rooms clean and well stocked with coffee etc. View from our room was stunning and the temperature in the room was perfect, the ability to open the window at night was good. The menu was not the largest and didn't change through the week but the food we did have was excellent.

A beautiful property in a very quiet village, which we loved. A really good base to travel around the Isle of Skye. Breakfast was fab too! We stayed in the manse house and had a large room with double aspect. Great bathroom. Shower was amazing!

Overall a great hotel where to the good outweighs the negatives. Goods - Food at the restaurant is great, Staff was helpful and friendly and the views were awe inspiring. The not so good, the price at the restaurant was high, the room was very small. Over I would say again.

Beautiful hotel in an off the beaten track. Very good food. It seemed to be the waitress's first day but she did really well under the guidance of the owner, who was certainly putting his heart into this small business. Really enjoyed our stay.

Mayanne was a lovely host. The room was comfortable, warm and we had a lovely view over the Loch. We arrived soaked after a hike to the Fairy Pools and Mayanne kindly dried our coats for us in her private rooms. There was an Indian within walking distance and breakfast next day was nice albeit there was no cooked breakfast offered. Nice little place and we would definitely stay again 😊. Hope the weather is better next time ,

Didn’t have breakfast

We arrived in darkness and were welcomed into a cosy bar with an open fire and comfy lounge area. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and had even offered to prepare us a meal as we wouldn’t be arriving before the kitchen closed at 9pm. The room was beautiful and I loved the style, a lovely nip of whiskey awaited us and some shortbread. The room was immaculate with cosy dressing gowns. When we woke up the next day we couldn’t believe the view from our room right across the sea. We will return...
