"I have been asked to pay for 19% tax of total bill I have already paid on expedia (that incuded normally the tax and everything) I dont know if I should blame expedia or them. Seems there is a tax exemption for tourists in colombia when you have a package. Package definition is loose though. Expedia should know better."

"Solo Traverlers**** this is my experience. I came Solo the first day and a hotel worker tried to come on to me, even close my door and attempted to dance with me in the room. Then a few days later tried to enter my room. The hotel did a good job and investigated everything but they tried to investigate it while I was there. This could have been dangerous for me. Nevertheless I wont stay at this hotel again and I will never travel alone. The hotel is beautiful, food is amazing."

"We had a lovely room with lots of space. Everyday the room was cleaned and smelled amazing. The staff were always friendly and helpful to us and we came back one day to a lovely note and a bottle of wine as a gift from the hotel to celebrate us being on our honeymoon. Lovely touch. We spent some time each day by the pool which had fresh towels there and would be a quiet and peaceful place to relax. The location was fantastic and would absolutely stay again."

"Our stay overall was amazing. The hotel is at a very good center point. You have access to anything and everything you want. From the minute you step foot outside there’s tons of things to do and explore. From restaurants, to pubs, supermarkets and even the vendors selling arepas at the corner. The staff is super courteous and friendly. The cleaning ladies and the personnel at the lobby are extremely nice. The only thing that I would suggest for the future is maybe placing a fridge and a microwave in the rooms, if not at the lounge outside the lobby. It would be very helpful. Other than that, I would go back next time I visit Cartagena."

"We had an amazing stay at Townhouse Boutique Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were stylish and comfortable, and the location in the heart of the historic center was perfect. The rooftop was a great bonus! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again."

"This is truly one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in across 24 countries. My boyfriend compared it to going on a Disney Cruise because the staff make sure to know your names, what room you are in, and are always checking up on you to make sure you have what you need. Amenities: The pool is incredible and the amazing view provides some amazing pictures. Breakfast: Breakfast is complimentary and is delicious. There is a menu with things like mini waffles (you must try with chocolate drizzle!), avocado toast with fried egg and tomato, and many other options. There is also a buffet which changes daily with a variety of fruits, ham and cheeses, potatoes, sausage, cereal, yogurts, and more. Worth staying here just for the breakfast and the ease that comes with not having to go out searching for food first thing in the morning. Location: Best location you could ask for in the Walled City. It is only a 6 minute walk from the clock tower and there are some incredible restaurants right on the same street as the hotel. Uber's will come pick you up straight at the front door or the hotel will even call you one and they guarantee they will be there within 5 minutes. Staff: The staff as I mentioned were all incredible, but I have to shout out two specific staff members: Pomponio and Luis Alfonso. They were so incredible and always made it a priority to check on us, solve any issues we had, and they both always had a huge smile on their faces. "
