A fantastic and spotlessly clean hotel. We stayed here for a week at the start of March. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, which meant the rooftop bar and pool area was closed for the first couple of days. Despite the weather, Olhao is a lovely little town with enough bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. We hired a car to explore the area and towards the Spanish border, and we were always able to find a free parking space in the surrounding streets around the...

This was one of those places that is a pleasant surprise, not because of anything major, but because everything is done well, and without fuss or annoyance. The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive or overbearing, the hotel is clean and well maintained in both private and public areas. The food is good and the location is convenient for both local facilities and travel further afield.

Oh my goodness, myself and my husband cannot rate this hotel highly enough. It is pure perfection. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, the food, ambiance and hotel/room was more than perfect. There is absolutely nothing negative to say. Thank you so much for for a fantastic stay. We will definitely be back!

What a find! Wonderful hotel. Short taxi/Uber ride from airport. Walking distance to train station, bus station, old town, marina and although a little further, a shopping centre. Lovely outdoor area. Free coffee. Samsung TV with mirroring. Great shower in bathroom. Basic kitchen. Balcony. Air con. Comfy bed. Very clean and modern. We will be back.

Great place, loved our stay. Not a lot nearby apart from boat to beach, but loved resort and didn’t need to go anywhere else

All of the rooms are suites with a lounge area with a sofa and chairs plus door to the terrace, a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. The hotel has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym, a bar and excellent restaurant.

We had an excellent twelve days. Staff could not have been more helpful; including giving guidance on how to travel by coach/bus to Vilamoura, I was grateful for the attention to detail - even printing off the timetable for me, and discussing the practicalities. The thing which impressed me the most was the willingness of the staff to ensure that you had a great stay - suggestions about activities for my child were personalised. Absolutely lovely place to stay. The staff are lovely. The room was right sized and clean. Every part of the common areas was also very clean. The breakfast was also very good with a wide range only options The only bit of a small bother was the location which is a bit away from the main attractions. But the hotel provides a pick up and drop option. Although you are best off if you have your own car

We stayed at the Episode Sana for 4 nights. We went to relax and whine down, so the location was a perfect spot for us. If you want to. E by the hustle and bustle, 'subs this is not the hotel for you. The interior is amazing. The food is nice. We had spa treatments, which were great. They really do look after you. The facilities at the hotel matched the description, staff were very helpful , food perfect and plentiful. The location was perfect with a short walk into the town for shopping and evening meals. Would definitely return.

Just returned from another lovely stay at Vila Gale. All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were given a river view room with a lovely aspect overlooking the ferry and boats on the river. There was plenty of variety at breakfast and great to sit outside in the sunshine. We made good use of the shuttle bus to take us into town ... unfortunately it still doesn't run on Monday or Tuesday . Ferries to the wonderful Terra Estreita beach were very always on...

Relaxing weekend with excellent spa experiences. Nearby restaurants in the marina. I preferred the marina view to the sea view. 30 min to albufeira and airport

Safe, quiet, convenient, short walk from the station, harbour, shops, restaurants and the walled old town. A warm and friendly welcome at check in. Very comfortable rooms. Great breakfast served on the rooftop terrace. Highly recommended for a stay in Faro.

Great location, nice and central to the marina and old town (less than 10 mins walk). The interior is characterful and had recently been refurbished so everything was clean and fresh. In particular the bathroom was spotless and had a great shower. All the staff were great, particularly Rima the housekeeper - she was amazing, helpful and polite.
