"The welcome when I arrived was much appreciated. Any interaction I had with the staff at reception was some of the most professional, yet friendly, I’ve experienced. That alone, would make be want to stay here again. The breakfast was decent and the room was comfy. "

"From check-in to check-out via breakfast and dinner, all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and tidy. 2 night stay in which the 2nd night was a bit noisier but nothing verging on causing a disturbance. Ideal location for city centre and for the University, where we had a concert on the saturday night. Food was fairly priced and extremely tasty. "

"The brasserie food was amazing in the restaurant but the service was terrible. We had a 40 minute wait between finishing our main and being offered a desert menu. The main problem was that we chose this hotel as it had a later check out time of 11am. However on approaching the hotel at 6pm we saw road closure signs starting at 9.30 the next morning for a half marathon. This meant that we had to leave at 9am to avoid the road closure or we would’ve been stuck at the hotel until 12.30pm. If we had known this at the time of booking then we would not have booked this hotel"
