The villa has everything that you could need, it is safe, well designed, comfortable and clean with a gorgeous outside area that backs directly onto an unspoilt quiet part of the beach. Hotel is located in nice area not over crowded. Hotel has 3 pools very clean, the beach is good. Rooms were cleaned everyday, we stayed for 4 nights, entertainment in the evening was excellent, food choice was excellent lots of verities for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We didn't Get to book alcart restaurant as they were fully booked. Overall the hotel standard is excellent.

Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water. The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access. We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good...

Had a brilliant time at Cocobay over Christmas and New Year. Enjoyed it so much, we stayed some extra days. Private beach is a small piece of heaven and i swam to jungle beach (about a mile) and that was super fun too. (can get a short rickshaw ride or walk also). Food was great, Sri Lankan or international cuisine available. Stayed in two different rooms and both great, clean and with sea and palm tree views. Excellent stay at the Bartizan, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond, rooms were clean and modern with excellent air conditioning. Breakfast was outstanding. Great location, overall the perfect place to stay in Galle.

Great little guest house right in the beach. The owners really did their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Close to Galle (20 rupee on the bus) but not amongst the tourist throng.

Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were fresh with a good range of choices, regularly changed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Methuli on the front desk was particularly helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to planning a return visit

Nice location right on the beach with comfortable sun loungers and plenty of shade, if desired. my husband liked the fact that the pool was shaded too. Staff were friendly and helpful

Home away from home boutique hotel. Service is amazing. Nothing is too much hassle. The food is incredible. So relaxing and the beach access is right there. Perfect start to our Sri Lanka adventure. Would highly recommend.
