The facilities may be a bit dated compared to big brands, but the staff, the food, view and the serene surroundings more than make up the fancy gadgets that might not be available. "A small inn ran by an old couple; I didn't see much of the husband, he seemed to be busy doing various tasks around the property. The wife was a kind lady, who will help you easily if you need it, she also has a decent grasp of English so you shouldn't need much google translate, especially if you know a bit if Japanese yourself. "

"We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive. It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away. That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!"

"My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations. "El hotel está nuevo, el personal es MUY amable y el lugar es precioso en una zona tranquila con vista al parque, los árboles y los siervos. Caminando llegas a los templos más importantes del parque Nara Habitación muy grande decorada en estilo japonés con una cama enorme con sábanas suaves hay un sofa, una mesa y aún mucho espacio. El baño es grande con ducha y tina y toallas ultra suaves. Excelente!!!"

"石上神宮参拝に朝いちばんに　行きたかったので 「やまべ」さんに泊まらせていただきました。 素泊まりでしたので　多くは望まなかったし お値段がとてもリーズナブルだったので　それなりだと 思います。 おばちゃんが　親切でお話するのが楽しかったです。 また　自転車を無料で借りられたので　石上神宮まで行くのがショートカットできてありがたかったです。 でないと　けっこう歩くことになるので．．． また　天理に行くときには　お願いすると思います。"
