The Arden is a delightful place to stay in Harrogate. It is quiet, spotless, the hosts Jan and Mark are lovely and so helpful. And the breakfast experience is much better than any 4 or 5 star hotel I have stayed at!!

Lovely short break

Lovely stay at Arden House. Perfectly placed for walking into Harrogate. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and set us up for the day

Wonderful stay

Lovely couple and we were welcomed on arrival. Large house in a great location for all amenities. Breakfast was superb with all tastes/diets catered for.

Harrogate Adventure

Well located for town centre and places of interest within walking distance. Also lots of information on display. Hosts very friendly and accommodating and even after I had left the B&B the owner allowed me to leave my case and return with a key to collect it later. A wide and tasty choice for breakfast accompanied by lots of coffee. A very pleasant and comfortable place to stay. Thank you.

The property was ideally located for the centre of Harrogate. The public areas of the property were very good but our room, whilst comfortable, was a little tired. Our hosts were lovely and the breakfast was excellent.

Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Harrogate. Very friendly welcome and soon checked in. Nice neat room with big bed and lots of tea/coffee supplies. Room overall was very clean but a bit tired in places and could have done with a bit of updating. Breakfast was fantastic with a huge choice of cereals/fruit and cooked dishes.

This property situated very close to Harrogate town Centre and the proprietors jan and Mark are the most friendly helpful people you could wish for. the breakfast was stunning. The choices were lovely. A couple of times I had the smoked salmon scrambled egg and mushrooms which set me up for the day. The room is super clean. The bed was really comfortable and it was a wonderful place to stay.

Great Locstion

Really lovely owners perfect location breakfast was superb but we found that our room was very dated and the noise from both rooms either side early morning and at night kept us awake due to the very thin walls we could hear every word, and our ensuite was very poor smaller than a broom cupboard but with a good supply of hot water.

Can’t fault an excellent B and B

A very well-appointed B and B in a quiet street, within walking distance of the centre of town. There is limited parking onsite but vouchers for parking on the street are happily provided. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The room was excellent and perfectly clean. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of choices. It is hard to find fault with our stay.

Friendly welcome with Betty standard breakfast

Very cozy for a solo traveller. I like it when BnB's cater for them in that the room was no bigger than it needed to be and bathroom had shower/bath. The breakfasts were excellent. Fresh fruit buffet with a big selection of berries, cereals and some ham and cheese. As well as this they offer fresh cooked full English and other things you would get at a restaurant. Finally the home made jams were great. I'd be taking some back if I wasn't flying with just hand luggage. Communal lounge area was available with a help yourself honesty bar.

As a customer recently having had a stroke and also diagnosed with Hydrocephalus it would have been most useful to know in advance if the property had a lift. We were accommodated on the 3rd floor so found the stairs very difficult to manage. To be fair, the owners did offer to accommodate us on the lower floor if we notified them ahead of any future visit and did offer to carry our cases up and down for us. A spotlessly clean B&B with friendly owners. However, was disappointed that the on-site parking was not really suitable and had to park the car (free with vouchers provided) on the roadside under trees which leaked leaves and sap all over the bodywork.
