It is conveniently located near a number of dining options in the loop district, as well as theaters, the Museum of Illusions, the riverwalk, and the Art Institute of Chicago. The room with single king bed was large, and the bathroom several times larger than the one at home. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, not only on check in and check out, but any time we passed through the lobby."

"This hotel is stunning. My stay here was accidental as I had made a mistake booking a short distance away and failed to book my first night at The Holiday Inn. What was disappointing (having to leave and find another hotel) ended up being a delightful discovery. This hotel is elegant, charming, and historic. I thought I had stumbled into a strange Great Gatsby-style dream. Pricing was reasonable and my room was fantastic. I would recommend. "

"Close to numerous train and bus options and lots of attractions and dining as well. This was my first stay at a hostel and it was an overall highly positive experience. I opted for a women's en suite, which was 6 beds and a private bathroom. The bathroom had separate doors for the shower and toilet, making the facilities accessible. The en suite was the best of both worlds - sharing a space and meeting new people, but not as large as one of the bigger sleeping areas. The communal areas for dining, leisure, and activities were spacious. Hostel guests were a wide range of ages and backgrounds. I met lots of interesting people but also had enough space to have time to myself when I needed it. Had I known about all of the activities available at the hostel, I would have better planned my trip around some of them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast and coffee was very basic but a helpful way to start the day. I met the most people at breakfast. I loved that the facilities had water bottle refill stations, hand sanitizer stations, and both recycling and waste receptacles everywhere. There were also a variety of vending machines in multiple locations. I had an interesting and unique experience and would definitely stay there again. "
