"Wonderfully modern and clean home. The best part was the restaurant next door and the private Onsen soaring tub. They provide a number toiletries as a convenience if you didn’t bring any. The mini splits do take time to warm up the home, but once they do it is very comfortable. "
"This is an amazing gem of a hotel. It is extremely chic. The staff are so friendly and the food and booze are next level. Not for kids this is really a couples hotel. "

"Rooms were very large and had a fantastic lake view! Very clean with many amenities included, my favorite being their traditional onsen. It is open very early in the morning and late at night. It had everything you needed and the outdoor onsen was extremely relaxing and refreshing after a long day hiking. Additionally, I have sensitive skin and my skin did not react to their onsen water, unlike the onsen I tried in Gora. So safe for sensitive skin people! Staff was extremely friendly and responsive. The only downside was that there were 2 high end restaurants that required reservations. Most places in town close at 5pm, so those restaurants were really our only options. However, they had not a single reservation open for the entirety of our staff. We ended up having to walk a mile (in the dark w/ flashlights) to the convenience store every night (~6pm) for dinner. So maybe try to book reservations ahead of your stay! But their amenities and onsen made it very worthwhile! "
"I liked the authentic look and theme of the onsen. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Really enjoyed my time there and the culture. Shame it was just for one night. Oh , P.S. if you intend to use the onsen, you are expected to be in there totally nude, and washed clean before getting in. Sure it's a bit weird of a custom, but worth the experience."
"Recommend this property. I stayed in a riverside room. The private onsen was perfect and hearing the river water flow was very relaxing, plus the river colors are surreal. The breakfast buffet had lots of options between western and Japanese cuisine. "
"Apartment was nice, so good to have mineral bath and foot bath, very quiet & beautiful views of the lake. Shame no restaurants open at night in the area but 7/11 was close. "
"This was an amazing experience and probably the highlight of our japan trip. The staff is just incredibly attentive. Don’t think we’ve experienced this anywhere in the world. I truly recommend this place for a relaxing few days. The private onsens are also amazing and super easy to book and use. "
"Definitely accommodation suited for holiday makers with a car. Facilities were immaculate. Limited dining options but able to walk 6-7 minute to train station to Hakone for dinner. Bus 4-5 minutes. "
