If you’re travelling on a budget, you can get food from Coop and the breakfast room can be used to warm or have your meal (especially convenient when travelling in groups because the rooms are not very large). They even provide cutlery/ plates and cups."

"The hotel staff were very friendly. Our room was on the 4th floor. It was large with two rooms, a table and four chairs. Tv in each room . The room was clean and tidy. There were two doors out onto the balcony which has most beautiful Mountain View. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, the location was slightly uphill and close to the shops, restaurants and only a short walk to the train station. The views were amazing and we would come back if we came to Grindelwald again."

"The rooms and bathrooms have been nicely upgraded and are clean. The views are ectraordinary. Breakfast is excellent. The reception area, hallways and stairways are dark and tired looking.
