"Breakfast is not included in every booking so just be aware of that. The buffet breakfast was a little on the expensive side for my liking. I believe it was $40 per person. My wife and I chose to order from the a la carte menu and that was more reasonable in my estimation. The food was delicious don't get me wrong and the staff were great!"

"Didn't order breakfast, room clean but needs to be refurbished. Ironing board had no padding hence needed to put towel under to allow clothes to iron properly. Cost $22 to park the car. Much better places in Cairns, probably won't stay again same price or below. Bed and pillows comfortable. "

"This place was amazing. We got the family room, garden view and you were in the rainforest! Small stream, plenty of wildlife ( frogs, hopping mice, fruit bats ). Own on site restaurant plus a pizza place. Happy hour cocktails 4-5pm. 3 pools, we had a private pool late night swims recommended to avoid other people, all heated. Lovely helpful staff, rooms were large and clean. Downsides: no pay tv only free to air so either upgrade or bring a laptop. The 'locals' like to smoke alot and don't stick to the smoking areas they will smoke everywhere and seeps into your room. The mattresses very uncomfortable i had to request a mattress topper. Otherwise i would stay here again. Large and quiet!"

"The were two curtain tracks in the first room we stayed at, but only one fabric curtain. This was not a problem on the first night (although it is nice when curtain tracks overlap so there is not a gap where the curtains meet). On the second night, it was a problem as several very bright bursts of light came through the curtains throughout the night - bright enough to wake me up when I had dozed off. In our second room, there were two curtains - one made of blockout fabric and one sheer. A much better arrangement."

"This was a dream come true stay for the one day we stayed. (We were evacuated our second day due to cyclone). The staff went above and beyond. The room was great. You get a lot of extra amenities included like the transfer to and from the island, snorkeling and the glass bottom boat tour. The best part was after 430 the day tourists left and we had the whole island to ourselves with only 29 guests staying over night. Overall it was the best day of vacation I ever had."
