"This was my last min emergency hotel for the last 2 nights of a 3 night stay in Cairns because the hotel I originally booked was substandard. So the Crystalbrook Bailey was WONDERFUL by comparison. Only downside was the room was extremely compact, but well organized. I wh preferred 2 big bedside tables and more space on the bathroom counter, but we made it work. Coffee maker was espresso only, but they had a kettle and I pack my own coffee, sweetnlow & powdered creamer, so we made it work. I loved being in a corner room on a high floor with floor to ceiling windows "

"Room had an incredible view and balcony. It was clean and spacious. However, it lacked style. It has so much potential, but needs some decorating attention. I would stay again however because it’s in a great location and everything else was good. Just room for improving aesthetically. "

"First off, the location is perfect and the marina view is definitely the way to go. The room we had was very calming, and the bed was super comfortable. We loved waking up and having our coffee on the balcony watching the ships go out for the day. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I don’t have a single negative thing to say. I 100% recommend the Shangri-La and the marina room—it’s worth the cost. We would go back in a heartbeat!!"
