This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent setting with great facilities and a very attentive team. 5 star service. The amravali suites are very nice. However the hotel does seem to attract quite annoying guests, the north Indian middle classes who are crude in their behaviours. They are rude to the staff, loud, the restaurant is treated like a roadside dhabba, they are in the pool fully clothed with grown adults throwing around frizzbies like it’s a children’s water park. My husband and I recently spent 3 nights here. We booked a Premier Suite with garden sit-out and it was the best choice we could have made. From the moment one enters Taj Aravalli, it is clear that this property is one of a kind. The resort is spread over 27 acres and they have golf carts to help take guests around. Activities offered by the resort include turf football, cricket, archery, paintball, billiards, among several others. It is a small town in itself and the next time we visit, we will...

I have been traveling for over 40 years and have stayed at thousands of hotels and I would rank this property as 1 of a kind and not to be missed if you are in Udipur - - - it is best by far the best in the area. The rooms with a lake/city view are well worth the extra cost and are an experience
that you will always remember.
DON'T MISS A LIFE EXPERIENCE ON THIS PROPERTY.
The management, especially Vikas (The G.M) is vary helpful and caring

Yes breakfast was good and tasty but we did not go for swimming. The staff and the owner Mr Jain were very friendly and helpful. I suggest the hotel is very good to stay with your family.

Had a really great time! The pool was amazing and we truly enjoyed it a lot. The vibe, music, and overall atmosphere were very relaxing and fun. It was a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Brilliant hotel, amazing food, good location, reasonably good service. Best part was that we got a free upgrade. Breakfast was pretty good too. Dinner awesome...so much so that my friend said that he will bring his family there just to dine.
One thing - Google maps are not most convenient, don't follow it. Call hotel and take alternate route.

After a few relaxing laps in the pool, head out and visit some of the noteworthy attractions in and around Gogunda. Consider a trip to Lake Pichola.
Why should I choose a hotel with an indoor pool for my stay in Gogunda?
Accommodation with an indoor pool area is ideal for a trip to Gogunda any time of the year, as it offers a lovely way to spend a few afternoons should the weather let you down. An indoor pool is great for keeping active when getting used to the time difference if you're coming from far away.
