"I loved my whole experience staying at the Mulberry hotel in Thamel. The room, the bed and washroom was perfect and the restaurant food was amazing. "Nice hotel that is close to Boudha Stupa which has good restaurants and tourist shops. The hotek had a good restaurant for lunch and dinner and drinks but breakfast is buffet but not kept hot. Mostly Asian style breakfast foods. That was the only negative. The room was clean and spacious and lobby is nicely decorated as is the pool and courtyard areas. Quite comfortable."

"There are lots of hotels to stay at in Kathmandu, but there is only one Shankar. Shankar has unmatched hospitality, with my personal favorite hosts Mr. Puri & Mr. Sharan who are both super stars. I always looked foward to chatting with them at meal times. Shankar has a mid-century modern motif, and it keeps the heritage of Nepal and Newari culture alive. Shankar also has an amazing garden to relax in and connect with nature after a long day in the city. "
