"What a gigantic disappointment. This hotel seems to have been last renovated on the 1980s. It is shabby, dirty, run down and completely outdated. The room is ho-hum . The bedroom chairs were so worn that the arms actually had holes in the fabric, and rubbed in dirt all over the chairs, the bathroom was tiny and really cheaply made. The bed super uncomfortable. Th TV remote control was so cheap that we could not even read the letters on it. The tv dido not work for the 2 nights we were there. The phone charging contraption near the bed never worked. It had 2 charger cords each 5 inches long. Neither worked and the instructions for the silly device were written in microscopic letters , impossible to read and in german. The staff is hopeless and unhelpful. This entire place needs a major major renovation. It is like staying in a 1985 hotel on the 21st century . Frustrating and awful . "

"Clean and basic bit has everything you need. Breakfast also basic. Hot sausages and scrambled eggs and cold choices of cereal, yogurt or hams and cheese. Room clean and neat like a hospital rather than hotel room but the location is perfect, walking distance to the centre and Potsdamer Platz, check point Charlie and Brandenburg Gate. Would use again as the price was good too. "
