Very Very Meh. I chose the Deluxe Corner Suite for my parent's birthday- so I had high expectations, given the occasion. Pros: Before I arrived, the concierge staff were great in regards, to booking places for dinner and tips on where to go- and they were very nice when we arrived. Room- nice bathroom, two toilets, comfy bed and TV's in both rooms. Great selection of food for breakfast and two very competent waiters (1 was a manager i believe). The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing and the doormen were amazing- welcoming, friendly and chatty! Cons: Arrival - Upon arrival - when chatting the receptionist i mentioned why we were there he said he would upgrade us and come to find us the next day to wish a happy birthday. Great! However in infact no upgrade, no better view, just the room i had booked- a lie basically. I was given a standardised greeting card to which the desk staff said he had "no idea what it was". It all seemed amateurish. They also left an a used room service order and a bottle of cheap & terrible Prosecco. The breakfast (which is actually lovely tbh): I ordered pancakes - which were served with a side of fruit. On 3 out of 3 occasions (100% rate) found fruit/berries either uncleaned or with mold on. Some of the waiters/tresses were clearly inexperienced, making trivial mistakes and becoming panicky it was like watching Faulty Towers/Mr Bean Asked for cleaning in the evening so my mum could use the bath- got given 2 towels in return.. like seriously?
