We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Otero in March 2016. The retro boutique style of the whole place is fantastic with amazing attention to detail. Our room was a good size for us and our toddler daughter. The room was generally very clean with room service provided every day. The hotel manager was very attentive to setting up a cot for us in our room when we arrived and making sure our daughter had somewhere comfortable to sleep. What a beautiful stay I’ve had. Everything was perfect. Advice for uk travellers, there are no tea making facilities in the room (in mine there wasn’t) but there is downstairs near reception. It was a 3pm check in but you can leave your bags with reception prior to this time. Breakfast was very nice with large choice of continental items, unlimited! All staff are a credit to the ibis brand. Will definitely stay again.

We thought this was such a great hotel for its reasonableness in price and everything it had to offer, quite the little find we thought! We arrived by train, St-Laurent-du-var station was only 5-10min walk to hotel. Hotel is literally across the road from the brilliant CAP3000 shopping mall, which in 30+ temperatures was a relief to have next door with Great shops, restaurants. Lovely hotel, the staff are really charming and we had an upgrade to a superior room when we arrived. For me, the 12 euros for breakfast wasn't really worth it- only as I don't eat a lot for breakfast- but there is the option to have express breakfast which is cheaper. The salon is very pretty and has magazines and papers and a piano (which you are welcome to play!). Location was fantastic - right on the edge of the vibrant old town this is the place to be , for food , atmosphere and enjoyment. Facilities in apartment were fabulous - definitely upgrade and get a view of Place Massena Square Property lacked basic guide for example no information on Nice , no emergency contact details no fire exit procedure . but that is definitely the only negative about this property . Reception for Hotel downstairs closed at 8pm

Honesty if someone doesn't give 10 out 10 to this Hotel is because they have some serious personal problems. Everything regardd this place is great. The location is amazing. The rooms are so romantic. Great breakfast with plenty to choose from. Members of staff OMG, all of then is so kind and smile all the time. There is 24h reception and the price is very good for Nice, special in the area where the Hotel is located. I do recommend the place 100%, definitely staying there next time.

I stayed for four nights on my own in a double room and as several reviews stated, it was a small room and although it was sufficient for me, I can imagine that it would be a tight squeeze for a couple. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean and the bed was comfortable and warm. The receptionists were all particularly helpful and knowledgeable about the area, and they all spoke English very well.
