"The property was good and clean; the poolside seating adds to the view. The rooms have a big balcony and a view. The only con is that the property is pretty far from MG Road, and you have to book a taxi from the road. No cab was available at the hotel and restrauant timing were very strict to 9 PM. They had very few guests on the day we travelled."

"Sinclair's is an older, well-maintained, and attractive property, with beautiful views of Kanchenjunga. The street leading up to it is steep, and then are stairs leading up to the hotel and more to the rooms (no lift), so you need to be all right with that. (We're over 70 and had no problem.) The staff is lovely and go out of their way to help you. I'd single out Bragya--I hope I have her name right--for exceptional service, helping us find a taxi to Bagdogra at a heavily touristed festival...
