"Beautiful property with great views. Walkable into town. Note: if you stay in either of the the original “old house” rooms, the beds are a little dated and the climate control is limited. However, the terrace makes up for this drawback. "

"Our AC wasn't working as it should. It was just too hot in our room. Would be nice to have more times available for our shuttle bus since it's a bit far from city center. First shuttle bus it too late and later at night there is none. Parking is also limited. The staff is just wonderful. "

No decaff tea - go next door to the cliff after dinner for that. VidaMar suited us as a great base (we didn’t rent a car), we used bus or booked trips. The ‘west’ jeep discovery tour is a must. Plus all the other go-to places. Walk to Camera de Lobos and get the bus back. Madeira exceeded our expectations. "
