"Showed up to find out no one employee was present on the property. We went for dinner and had the restaurant call the number for the hotel. Some guy met us there and showed us to our rooms. They were gross. No toilet paper and i had a BUCKET shower. Thats right. No shower head. Stay somewhere else. They charged me highend hotel prices. These people are a scam. They use AI images to lure you in. There is no breakfast. He told us to go down the street to a restaurant."

Lovely, well maintained hotel, pool and gardens . The staff committed , knowledgeable and friendly.
Dinners in the History restaurant were without exception delicious, especially the First Class Railway Mutton Curry which was outstanding.
These were preceded by a visit to the bar, over which knowledgeable barmen preside.
All in all, a wonderful stay and the next door ferry was never a problem for us, indeed we think we will miss the throbbing motor which we found quite comforting.
