"A four star hotel at a five-star location. Staff are friendly and willing to help, but lack the training, attentiveness and initiative of properties like the Oberoi or Leela. Actual hotel is lovely and classic, but most certainly needs upgrades to fixtures, furniture, etc...to truly be a five-star ..."

"Loved our two nights here. Rooms were gorgeous and quiet and clean. Hotel was lovely and breakfast delicious (one of the best we had in India). Location was perfect - so close to the water. Pool was a welcome relief from the heat. Laundry was expensive."
