Explore the city centre to discover excellent shopping and sightseeing. Walk to the city edge for views of the now-closed Hercilio Luz Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in Brazil. Here the beach has a milder surf and is lined with resorts, bars and nightclubs and is a hub for the city’s nightlife.
