The property is right smack in the middle of everything, which is very convenient. Although it’s in the midst of bars and restaurants, we don’t hear anything from outside. Staff were always happy to help and very friendly throughout our stay. Only downside was the breakfast. The room was solid for the price, the air conditioning was great and there was enough space. "Well located property, clean and modern. Nice staff, friendly and helpful. Minor problems resolved instantly.
Close to Valletta, directly opposite a nice cafe and close to a mini supermarket for essentials.
Some feedback:
- Fridge/kettle couldn't be plugged in as they're EU plugs (Malta uses UK plugs). They also weren't close enough to plugs to use when we wanted to
- A shelf in the bathroom for toiletries would be helpful. Very small cupboard under the sink was difficult to keep all of our...

"This hotel is a hidden gem. It is recently remodeled, the decor is simple and beautiful with nice artwork. Don’t think about going home and ordering the mattress for yourself. It’s Maltese - I looked. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The Taxi ride from the airport was 10 minutes. The hotel is in a quiet area and about a 7 minutes walk to the bustling historic sites."

"Good location, a few minutes stroll to Valetta. The stay was spoiled by three things: the air con in the room did not work, so the temperature was oppressive; the bathroom stank; and the TV did not work. Other smaller things included cheap plastic toilet seats that were not installed properly. The roof terrace is also tiny, and can seat eight people plus two sunbeds, and it would then be uncomfortably crowded. And at night sleep was spoiled by local yobos shouting and boy racers screaming...

"For a five star hotel it was disappointing. First the positives… the pool, and pool area was wonderful and spacious. The buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of choices. That’s where it ends. The check-in was terrible. The clerk didn’t even smile or offer us a welcome drink as other guests were given. Despite it being a VIP Expedia hotel we were not offered an upgrade. "Good location, easy to access buses and Valletta. Room was smaller than expected. Check in was smooth, though 2 separate incidents in the 7 days meant we couldnt access the property or our room due to key issues. Some guests were given keys which effectively locked other guests and staff in and out. At best this was an hour of inconvenience, at worst this is a huge evacuation/ safety issue which we hope is resolved. Staff did try their best to help and were polite."

"Good size room , great location for transport. On the down side walls thin so you can hear everything outside room, which is fine as long as you have not got noisy people on your floor which unfortunately I did.
Breakfast was basic but fine. Bit odd that you eat it in the reception area with around 6 tables. Couple of complaints that were dealt with straight away by friendly reception woman did not get her name but works late afternoons and evenings."
