"Here’s a polished, firm but fair review you can use (keeps your key points but strengthens the impact): I stayed at Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa (room 50) and unfortunately had a very poor experience. I was not informed at the time of booking that a wedding would be taking place. I have no issue with events being held, but the noise continued until around 1am and made it impossible to get any sleep. When I raised this with staff, I was simply told “there’s nothing we can do as it’s a wedding.” No attempt was made to offer a solution, such as moving rooms or finding any compromise, which was very disappointing. In my view, this falls short of the standard expected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, as the service was not provided with reasonable care and consideration for guests. The following morning, the reception staff were equally disappointing—dismissive and lacking any real acknowledgement of the issue. A more professional and empathetic response would have gone a long way. To add to this, the breakfast was poor. The quality of the food felt cheap, and the presentation and appearance of staff did not inspire confidence in hygiene standards. For a stay costing over £100, I expected a much higher standard across the board. "

"It was an average larger hotel but we felt a bit disappointed by our stay, unlikely to return. The room was next to a dual carriage way and noisy with the cars/smelt of petrol fumes, when requesting a change of room we didn’t get much response. The place was generally a bit run down. The breakfast was ok but limited to traditional cereals and an average cooked breakfast- little choice for vegetarians, continentals or those who wish for more healthy options. "

"Easy to find, great parking. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Needs more hooks in the bathroom and plug/charging points in thr main room. Continental breakfast was a bit sparse, although they did give me a poached egg. Staff were friendly."

"Staff were friendly, room was good size for us and our two dogs, found the bed rather firm for us and was rather closer to the motorway than I realised you would have heard traffic all the time if the window was open but luckily there was a fan. The on site cafe was great. Pet friendly, lovely people and good food. Would stay there again for that reason. "

"This was the perfect location for our first family holiday. It was comfy, cosy during the storm and had all we need. Bonus was if was close to all our days out!"
