"Staying at Pike’s is always a treat. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Shuttle from airport is prompt and provides excellent service—bags loaded, unloaded, etc. The breakfast is the best—a complete meal and so good. We always stay here when overnighting in Fairbanks. Thanks!!"

"I last stated here when it first opened and it of course was pristine. My room was clean but had a lot of areas on furniture that needed touch up paint from wear and tear that made it look not well taken care of. The very large, framed picture in my room was coming apart, the heat was at 80 and only cooled down to 76 but the staff was great and gave me a fan for my room. The first day Breakfast area was not kept very clean, the second day it was cleaner and the food was restocked. I only had the oatmeal and bagels, but they were good and had condiments to go with them. They had Eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, biscuits, cereals waffle maker and juices, coffee and tea. There was plenty of parking. It was pretty quiet despite being very close to the airport."

"This did have basic service that you would expect with a 3 star hotel. We were a party of 6, with 3 rooms reserved for 3 nights. Granted, we were some of the last visitors for the season, just prior to closure, but I literally had to go begging coffee refills for the mornings, and the tea was not replenished. I finally located some at the front desk--since housekeeping was unable to locate. Also, had to beg for Kleenex--after the dispenser was left empty for two days. The daily housekeeping service was a huge disappointment. The rooms were not made up until after 5:45 pm. The first day, I had just pulled the covers up on the bed in our room and the bed was then not freshly made that day. The lobby was continually packed with visitors, and difficult to even find a place to sit. People were either waiting for a room, or had checked out and were waiting for a later flight. At any rate, it made the public areas very uninviting. "
