This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Fairbanks. it has its own restaurant and breakfast bar. The gift shop was closed for construction when we were there. Staff were nice. Room has a fridge but no microvave although there is a common microwave for all guests which was very convenient. There’s also laundry services. Rooms were clean. We will definitely stay here when we visit Fairbanks again.

The exterior walls and hallway carpet were a bit scruffy, but the rooms were very clean with nice comfy pillows and king bed. There is a convenient laundry room on premises, gym and business area with microwaves. Alaska in general has a shortage of workers, so no one was available to clean our room when we requested it but I got by with new fresh towels and requesting more soap and TP. Overall I would still stay here again as it is centrally located and was a good value for the price.

We enjoyed our stay at the Westmark Hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the location is conveniently close to downtown. It felt quieter, likely because it’s winter and there weren’t many guests around, but we didn’t mind at all.

The size of the room was big enough. No Mountain view from our room. There was no house keeping for our entire 6 nights stay. There was no body wash. We were told by the front desk staff that they did not have enough staff working. We needed to get things that we needed from the front desk.

Great location to downtown Fairbanks and pickup for tours. Restaurant breakfast buffet is not good for price. Its more of a limited continental breakfast. Gift shop was closed so no access to needed amenities. Rooms are older and it shows - carpet, showers, heating/air, tv channels. The restaurant/bar staff is amazing, we ate most meals there because were appreciated them so much. The other hotel guests are mixed clientele so it can be loud and chaotic even if in your own room. We didn't sleep well at any point.

Maybe because one side of the hotel is being remodeled, the south tower was seriously neglected, but services could definitely use some improvement. We went three days without getting our room serviced—no towels, trash not thrown out; and the other days we had to ask to have our towels changed…which she just handed over. Not one single day did the room get cleaned. The back door that provides access to the parking worked 8/10 times. Making you walk around to the front entrance of the hotel…unfortunately for us, it’s -15 degrees. The hotel does have a pretty good restaurant. The front desk staff was good.

The room is very nice and spacious, but the TV was not watchable (very bad streaming, on every channel) and at noon time there was no hot water to shower, you would have to wait until later in the afternoon. As to the property, the convenience store/coffee shop was closed for renovation the entire time we were there, and the only open restaurant post-breakfast had no creamer for the coffee. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because it was supposed to have these amenities, we did not rent a car and since we were staying up late each night to go for Aurora excursions we missed breakfast and wanted coffee at later time. I had to DoorDash coffee every day and even a few other items that the convenience store would have had. Otherwise, nice and clean room and property in general, I would stay again if these other things were to work.
