Breakfast was great and varied but I hate the use of plastic cutlery and disposable plates - does this make them recyclable? Gym is excellent

Room was clean, staff we’re really helpful and pleasant and the breakfast was great… The hotel’s location really worked for us as we had to travel into San Francisco (train station is 2 blocks/5min walk away) and also visit family in Oakland. Overall, a great hotel👍

This may be an historic hotel, but it could definitely teach more modern hotels a thing or two about comfort and atmosphere! If you travel to the hotel from San Francisco Airport, beware of taking a taxi - our driver failed to tell us about the out of town surcharge, so it cost us a whopping $150 between three of us! spacious bedrooms with balcony. Had a river view Not bad location but need a car, or can use Uber to lomdon jack square. From there great ferry service to san francisco. London Jack square has a few bars and places to eat.

Had no issues was very clean for my stop over used hotel for catching the calafirnia zepher the next day from emeryville amtrake station just over 10 mins away only negative was the price of food in the hotel apart from that everything was good

First room light didn't work. Receptionist most helpful and moved us to another room immediately. Good choice of food for breakfast. Free evening meal on Wednesdays.
