It was a unique place to stay and the food in the restaurant was good, but it's above a bar and you can hear your neighbors loud and clear from in your room.

Stayed for 3 nights, convenient location to Musselburgh and plenty of transport into Edinburgh. The large room was very comfortable and the staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful.

The place is okay, but there is an event space and a bar in the same house so both nights we had problems with noise, second night the bar had live music until mid-night...not fun. I talked with the manager and she said these are "function rooms", whatever it means. Second day towel set also came stained.
