The cabins are fresh, bright, and comfortable. There is an option for breakfast with some of the best locally-made granola and homemade jam!! An all around perfect stay, at the doorstep to this jewel of a national park. We are so glad we found Abel Tasman Lodge. It has been the highlight of our time in Nee Zealand. "

"Great location, very friendly and accommodating staff, and great amenities. Room surfaces were quite dusty/dirty and there were spider webs found periodically but nothing too majorly bad. Heater in the room was great and the bed was very comfortable!"

"This was our absolute favourite of the ten places we stayed on our South Island road trip. Our room was fabulous with a spacious bedroom, bathroom, and living area/kitchenette. We had a large balcony with loungers, a table and chairs and a beautiful view plus an indoor/outdoor jet tub. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary use of the pools, hot tubs, steam room and sauna. The staff was lovely and the breakfast buffet was top notch."

"The room was clean, the breakfast muffins were delicious. I also took advantage of the free eggs from the owners’ chickens. The gardens were beautiful, tranquil and had plenty of seating areas. It’s an easy drive to the Abel Tasman trail and Motueka (where we went most evenings for dinner). This place is very comfortable and the owners make you feel at home. You can also pretty much see the Milky Way on a dark night. Walls are a bit thin and breakfast in the mornings are busy. It has a quirky charm."
