We had the most amazing stay at drift off grid. The place was even more beautiful than I remember from the Expedia photos. Stunning views, extremely comfy bed, gorgeous bathroom and the hospitable touches from our hosts Jana and Drew were lovely. Our favorite accommodation in New Zealand by far!

An amazing location with views of both the mountains & ocean. The glamping room (The Korimako) we had for 3 nights was truly wonderful. The golf type buggy provided is great to get all your grear from the carpark to your accommodation its also usful for a trip to the beach. We would highly recommend for a peaceful retreat getaway

A magical place

This place was magical! The sweet couple that own this place have thought of everything and were so helpful! Stay at least 3 nights, seriously. We wished we had booked more nights. My boyfriend chose to propose on the patio here because the setting was so memorable! Also, the electric buggy was super fun to drive around to the beach!

Jana and Drew have got an unbelievably special and unique place. We were already so excited to stay here based on the photos but they actually don’t do it justice, it’s even better than you think! The view is breathtaking and everything feels luxurious. Amazing communication and we felt so welcomed. Attention to detail was evident in every corner, everything you needed was there and done so well including delicious breakfast supplies and we made the most of the marshmallow roasting too ☺️ The view is phenomenal, a slice of heaven. At the bottom of the hill at Tata beach you’ll find a great spot to relax and we did the kayaking tour with Golden Bay Kayaks which was so special! Easy drive into Takaka for a range of food options and such a retreat to return to. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you, Jana and Drew, we genuinely couldn’t have dreamed of a more gorgeous and special spot.
