An all around perfect stay, at the doorstep to this jewel of a national park. We are so glad we found Abel Tasman Lodge. It has been the highlight of our time in Nee Zealand. "

"The room was clean, the breakfast muffins were delicious. I also took advantage of the free eggs from the owners’ chickens. The gardens were beautiful, tranquil and had plenty of seating areas. It’s an easy drive to the Abel Tasman trail and Motueka (where we went most evenings for dinner). This place is very comfortable and the owners make you feel at home. You can also pretty much see the Milky Way on a dark night. Walls are a bit thin and breakfast in the mornings are busy. It has a quirky charm."
