"This is a clean 4 star hotel that borders on 5 stars but let me explain. The property is a little bit older but in excellent condition and has very helpful staff. Location is great. If you are looking for a great location in central Jerusalem with really comfy rooms and beds and a great shower, and don’t want to pay $150-300/night (depending on time of year) this is a great option. If they were to put a killer kosher restaurant in their F&B spaces this would be a top property and compete with the big 5 stars properties."

"The American Colony Hotel in Jerusalem is SUPERB! The beautiful hotel is just blocks from the Old City of Jerusalem. The facilities are amazing - keeping the historic features with all of the modern ammenities. The staff are the BEST!! My favorite hotel in the world!!"

"Overall the place was ok. It was very busy and lots of people in and out. It was very close to the old city- maybe 15 minutes walk. There are restaurants and all kinds of entertainment within a 10-15 walking distance. The parking garage is very small and can be very challenging to the not so experienced driver. I would suggest parking elsewhere if you can find some space."
