We have just come to the end of a wonderful road trip from San Francisco to San Diego and this property was our last stay . We were checked in by Alexis who was so friendly and helpful The alpine lodge was absolutely perfect - the room was lovely - toiletries was gorgeous Sad we only needed to stay one night ! Excellent service

Lovely place with very helpful and pleasant owners. Delightful hotel

We chose this hotel for its excellent situation beneath the mountains (so many places within an hour or two's drive e.g. Julian, Ramona, Agua Caliente...). Pleasantly surprised by the excellent room we were given with a great balcony overlooking the beautiful golf course. The bar on site was great and offered some serious bar food, with Restaurant adjacent too. Breakfasts in the morning were just what you would hope for. The room was large and the bed comfy. It was dark and could do with better lighting but was adequate. Had a few queries but could only find staff once although he did try to help. Wasn't a problem. check out was easy, again we couldn't find staff but use the box for that purpose.
