I love the architecture inside. Staff were very attentive and welcoming especially to a westerner. I do speak Chinese so the staff really seemed eager to assist me on any of my needs. "

"My stay at the Ritz Carlton Nanjing was very nice. The staff was friendly and the amenities were nice. There was some wear and tear in my hotel suite which was kinda surprising to me. I would think they would replace or fix the furniture in the rooms that were worn. My room was nicely decorated for my birthday with a small cake and rose petals. There was also a nicely written card. The food and drinks in the Executive Lounge were deliciously. Especially the lamb chops that were freshly prepared. My main disappointment was not being able to have breakfast in the main dining area due to it being full and I had to go have breakfast in the Executive Lounge where the breakfast items are very limited. "

"It was such a wonderful surprise, the hotel is in the famous Suzhou traditional garden setting, right next to a park with an ancient tower and beautiful gardens. The rooms are luxuriously furnished with classic Chinese wooden decorations. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. rooms are very clean. The breakfast is outstanding I will go again anytime I go to the area, specially trying to reserve a room that faces the garden with impeccable views. Definitely the place to stay in the city"

"Was not informed the AC is in Heater mode and no AC during this season. Wifi show connected but was not working at all. Disappointed. Indoor swimming pool need to buy a cap to swim in it and cost RMB50. "
