"Rooms are quite small but very clean. Location was spectacular. Very close to the train station- it was a 2 minute walk. Check in was very easy. Close to everything you need, attractions and many restaurants and cafe’s."

"The whole facility was very clean and well kept. The kitchenette was useful and a great size. The bathroom was clean, the shower hot and the towels large. The bed was comfortable for a hotel bed. The curtains were black out and did their job well. It was nice to be able to open the window in our room for fresh air. There was always someone at the front desk even when we checked out to catch our flight at 2am. Every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful."

"The hotel is located away from the busy streets of Central Edinburgh but is a short walk away. The standard room was small but comfortable and clean. A perfect size when with us being out all day. Many tourist sites and restaurants are within walking distance. The breakfast is the normal Holiday Inn menu with a good range of options and staff that are quick to top everything up."

"I've stayed in hostels all over the world and I can't fault this one - it's clean, spacious, well-organised, goes above and beyond a standard hostel, as it has a cafe/restaurant and organises social events via. a WhatsApp group. It also has a pod style layout, which ensures beds are sectioned off with curtains and have their own lights and charge points. Highly recommend!"

"We asked to be transferred to an accessible room because there was not a walk-in shower and the bathtub was quite high. The hotel agreed to move us. However, to get to the accessible room we had to go down one set of steps and up two more sets of steps. The room was cold and we asked for maintenance to check the temperature. A young lady came to the room and didn’t do anything different than what we did. She went and brought back a portable heater that didn’t help very much. The hotel was a disappointment and I would not recommend."

"The property is well located and in close proximity of shops and restaurants. The bed, linen and accessories were of good quality but the room was rather small for two people and the lighting in the room can be improved."
