The location is away from the chaos of the Old City, and yet convenient enough for public transport (busses and Uber easily available). From the airport, you can take the airport bus shuttle (only €10 per person) and ask the driver to stop in front of Tommy supermarket. from there, it's a very short distance walk to the hotel. Staff was professional and attentive. Room and amenities are top-notch. Breakfast was sufficient and varied. We loved it!

Kompas Hotel is a modern and spacious hotel in Dubrovnik. The Old Own is around 15 minutes by bus. The hotel is well managed and the staff friendly and helpful.

Used this apartment as a 10-day holiday base for visiting, primarily Dubrovnik but Split, Kotor, Montenegro and Mostar, Bosnia with self drive car hire as well. Local supermarket and bakery provided for breakfast on the balcony, lunch out and mostly restaurant dining in the evenings. Very pleased with Hotel Neptune - nice clean room overlooking sea. We were on the 2nd floor with a lovely view. Quite location - staff very helpful, plenty of choice for breakfast, and a good choice for evening meals. There is a bus service just across the road in to the old town, which runs every 4 or 5 minutes, the fare is very cheap. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is part of the Importanne Beach Resort and therefore you could use the facilities of the other hotels in the group. Although no actual beach there were towels and sun beds provided on a concrete area next to the sea. Our room was very good with a view over the sea, cleaned every day. We did not have any issues and our stay went pleasantly. One day we stayed on the small beach what was nice. Myself being scared from swimming in the sea and the rocky beach is not for me even for the dipping my feet in, hence I loved the rooftop pool area what was surprisingly quiet with plenty sunbeds unoccupied all day long. Room was amazing, fit and finish was up there with the best. Sea views are simply perfect (although garden view rooms looked a bit :( Food was some of the best in Croatia, although most visitors simply had room & breakfast. Bus to Dubrovnik is so easy & reliable from hotel (don't even think of driving) and runs till 2am. The staff are some of the best out there, even bringing back out the fruit selection because we came down to breakfast late.... They simply are such nice genuine people....

Relaxing, lovely staff - nothing was too much trouble, very clean and also easy access to Dubrovnik city. Only one surprise was that l was nearly charged for drink l didn't have when l was checking out. My suggestion - when customers are charged to their rooms they should always show their room key card with their room number as a proof . Hotel was very lovely, with all good amenities, and easy dining opportunities along with courteous and helpful staff. My only small criticism, is that when B & B guests are on excursion trips, the breakfast boxes provided, should have less carbs and sugary treats and more protein such as nuts, pulses and eggs in them.

A lovely apartment, an easy walk from the restaurants etc along Cavtat's marina. The apartment had everything you could need, and the host lives in the house opposite and is very helpful. I highly recommend this place to stay. The only thing to be aware of (and this applies to all properties around Dubrovnik) is that the airport is nearby, and the flight path goes over all the nearby towns, so you do hear the aircraft going over - but it didn't bother me.

I stayed at the Uvala Hotel for one week. It has a beach within walking distance, has a indoor swimming pool and public transport down the road to travel to the Old Town. The food and service was excellent and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was very well laid out, clean, well furnished, very comfortable beds, fantastic shower. The restaurant was wonderful, delicious food, extremely helpful and friendly staff. The bar staff were also equally amazing and kind. The grounds were impeccable with lovely plants and the private beach a joy to swim from and take in the surrounding beauty. My only criticism is the music was not so great .

Large hotel but well spaced out so you never feel crowded. Easy taxi ride or bus to the Old City but far enough out to get away from the crowds (especially cruise liners !) with good choice of bars and restaurants nearby.

Bus stop is very close to the property. Beach is walkable, staff are friendly and breakfast was good. Air conditioned good size room. Had a comfortable stay.

Uvala Hotel is excellent., just the steam is off at the SPA but Hydromassage is on so it’s alright.
