"First off let me say this place is about location and price. It is near many multiple freeway locations and restaurants. Other than that is has nothing going for it. It is run down and has no blankets for the bed to sleep, just 2 sheets. The fan made sound but blew no air out. We had a desk but no chair. It advertised a patio but there was none. And the complimentary breakfast was as basic as can be, box cereal and bagels. And even though there were two guests, my wife and I, they only gave me a coupon for one breakfast per room. We chose not to eat. And the amtrak train goes by consistently like every 20 minutes or so, shaking the room and blaring the train horn. "

"Everything was lovely. Clean. Comfortable. Nice onsite bar restaurant. All staff courtesy. Have stayed many times and would stay again. Only one complaint: no safety bars in the tub/shower. Challenging for my husband to get out safely"

"This is a value hotel. You get a lot more for your money than most hotels at $100.00 night and you get a safe and clean area, free parking and coffee/bars in the morning. The staff is very helpful and polite, and it is a great place if you need a place to sleep for the night at a fraction of the next hotel rate and don't mind the spartan accommodations."

"The rooms were clean. The outside not so much, but you get what you pay for. I knew we were coming into Oakland super late and didn’t want to spend much for a few hours until we picked up our car so it was a place to wash up and lay your head for a few hours. Staff and hot shower was the best part of the stay."
