"I had to pay a VND1 million deposit and wait for the hotel staff to inspect the room before the money was returned. The pool is quite small, and the water did not appear clean. The hotel only provided tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner for two guests. At breakfast, my friend and I took a small banh mi and a small croissant to finish on the go. Although the manager saw us leaving and did not say anything at the time, she later instructed a staff member to chase after us and confiscate the food. I understand there may be rules about not taking food out of the restaurant, but the staff’s hostile attitude was very disappointing. We felt extremely humiliated by the experience. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we will not stay here again."
