The lovely old home has been updated beautifully, my room was quiet, comfortable and immaculate, and every room is very tastefully done. But most of all, Vicky was the perfect host—accommodating, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I’ve never enjoyed a stay more."

"This was good value in comparison to prices elsewhere and included breakfast. I took a single room and bed was comfortable and linen etc very clean. Staff very friendly. I have to go back to the area and would definitely stay there again. The menu was good as was the food .Very reasonable deal! Traffic a bit noisy in the morning as on a main road ."

"Beautifully furnished and quiet, very spacious room. Lisa is a consummate host and went to loads of trouble decorating the breakfast room to celebrate Easter. The breakfasts are fantastic too. There were only two small downsides: there is an electric charge point for EV's, but it obviously isn't used much and Lisa wasn't sure how to make it work. We managed about an hour's charge and had to go and find a charging point in town and sit in the car while that happened. It would have been perfect if...

"Only stayed one night, but it was comfortable and clean. Service was friendly and good. My only slight disappointment was that the private bathroom was separate from the bedroom, but still reserved only for us. The Hotels.com website said separate 'bedroom', not bathroom. Only a minor matter, otherwise everything good."

"A very warm welcome from Connor on our arrival, we stayed in the seaside suite and it was lovely. Bright and airy with a separate (but adjoining) room for the kids and big bathroom, perfect for a relaxing soak. We had a slight misshap with our bathroom plumbing but Connor went above and beyond to fix it. Had one of the best sticky toffee puddings I've ever tasted at dinner (honesty, SO good!).
