"The hotel was lovely and the staff was great. The whirlpool needs some maintenance, the jets weren’t working properly and it was too cold. Had a massage and it was excellent."

"We recently enjoyed a wonderful two‑night stay at Hotel Mystic Mountain, Nagarkot on 7 and 8 March 2026, and it was truly memorable. Although the weather did not cooperate enough for us to experience the famous mountain views, the exceptional hospitality more than made up for it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel’s facilities are genuinely world‑class, offering comfort, cleanliness, and a serene environment. Both the breakfast and dinner buffet selections were superb, with an impressive variety of delicious dishes. A special word of appreciation goes to Bal Krishna Shrestha, whose professionalism, warm nature, and thoughtful assistance made both me and my wife feel completely at home. "This is a lovely resort - definitely one of the best in/outside of Kathmandu. The staff were also great and the spa treatment was standout. The room was very comfortable with amazing bedding - we appreciated that a lot! Another highlight was sundowners on the helipad with a 360 view. I wouldn't rate the place 5 stars only because a few areas need improvement - when you looked closely at things, you could see some cheap construction... Also the sauna/steam rooms were really gross, we skipped after a walk through... They really need to be completely re-done."

"This is the most wonderful country hotel, perfectly situated with so many amazing amenities. I swam in the heated pool in the middle of winter. I didn't have a bathing costume but could buy one at a very low price. Sham our walking guide was fantastic. All the staff without exception were friendly and helpful. The hotel somehow discovered it was my birthday and made birthday cake for me, and all came to sing happy birthday. That was so touching, unexpected and wonderful - thank you! My room was absolutely beautiful. I hope to return one day soon."

"Wonderful boutique hotel tucked into the old city of Bhaktapur! Unique design profile, with careful attention to detail in its environmental approach. We were given a traditional Newari welcome, and tour of the property, and found the staff very helpful with tips and suggestions about Bhaktapur and the surrounding area. The food in the restaurant was delicious! Highly recommend this lovely hotel!"

"This hotel gets five stars for its views! But its also clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you can, ask for an end room on any floor, ending in a 5...they have the best views. Only drawback, it's a 15 walk into the centre of town and not reccomended at night."
