Stunning property, impeccable service. Spent 3 days here in a Himalayan View Junior Suite which was well appointed, very spacious and clean. Enjoyed the balcony every morning listening to the chanting from the monestary and viewing the local birds. Customer service is where they truly shine, everyone was very welcoming. Enjoyed several spa treatments at the Devarana Spa with Bhawani who performed magnificent therapy. Enjoyed a session of Himalaya Sound Bowl Therapy with their resident yoga instructor and sound bowl master, he was warm, welcoming & informative. Food was consistently good, again their service was excellent . There were several dishes to choose from at each meal (during midweek the choice is smaller, but it seems the menu expands a bit as they move into the busier weekend). There was a small buffet each morning or you can order directly from the menu too. We had a buffet available on our last night. Please note that this location is about a two hour drive from central Kathmandu. You can arranged transportation with Dusit directly and I’d recommend that you do so. Sadly, while we did have good weather during our March visit, the clouds did not lift enough to see beyond the valley and view the Himalayas. A disappointment for sure, but also an excuse to return during another time of year (we are told mid winter is best for the view) when we might have a better opportunity to enjoy the view!

The welcome was personalised, they made my birthday special. Breakfast is really nice. All staff were helpful and friendly. Thank you. Areas of improvement: Disappointed to have to call for house keeping to clean my room and room was not cleaned whilst I was not in the room. TV had no remote and had to call to get a remote on arrival. Was informed on arrival that sauna and steam was inaccessible due to renovation. I was really disappointed because it was not highlighted on the website prior to booking. These issues was easily resolved following contacting reception and Rushan. I was allowed to used the sauna as the renovation had nothing to do with the sauna and steam room. Recommend hike, massage, meditation and sound healing bowl. Thanks to Rushan and his team. Thank you to all the staff, the restaurant staff for being accommodating, the house keeping staff for making my room special on my birthday, for the kind handwritten note you left at my bedside, it really make me feel extra special when I returned to my room and thank you to the reception team for all there help and making me feel welcome.

Surely ,this place was overall the BEST resort we have been to in the past few years, 5 star. Super friendly, nice and supportive staff all around the resort, so I can only mention a couple of names, "Sirja" at management & "Roshan" at Devarana wellness centre who also guided us patiently to trekking to Namobuddha as well. There's not enough room to mention all names , but I highly appreciate everyone. Incredibly relaxing 90min massage treatment at Devarna wellness was Devine. From the moment we stepped in all the way till checking out it was an awesome experience. It is a MUST visit place for anyone traveling to Kathmandu.
