"We only had one night here, wish we could have stayed longer. Wonderful experience for a first-time visit to a rain forest. We enjoyed swimming in the river and easy access to local rainforest hikes."

"Would have benefitted from luggage carrier with rain protection given distance from parking lot to hotel. Apart from that, everything was wonderful and as advertised."

"The location of the hotel was excellent right in the middle of Port Douglas can walk everywhere. The main part of the room was quite small so it felt very cramped with our luggage. The bathroom was large, and the shower was very comfortable. The one major drawback for us was that there was a lot of scares climbing up and down to the second floor. Due to our very large and full luggage, it was very difficult climbing up and down."

Could easily imagine having more time here…kitchen, lounge and balcony, pool and easy access to shops, food and attractions. Just mindful that there is no lift and stairs required to rooms. Would stay again!"
