"Sink didn't drain well. Room cramped and bed lumpy. Carpet dirty, bathroom tiles peeling. That said, safe and good location. It's not the worst place to crash if you just need a cheap space for a night or two. Wouldn't want to stay longer."

"While the rooms are lovely and the sheets were immaculate, I needed help with three things - 1) the front desk had to send an engineer to help me set up the Chromecast (there really was an issue, but the engineer came up at 930 pm and solved it) 2) the shower head was old and was not providing sufficient water flow and was malleable enough to where me trying to clean the openings was just squishing them (the showerhead wasn’t just cleaned, it was replaced by the time I got back to the room, but that tells you about the state of the hardware), the shower curtain was dirty - and again, they replaced the single-layer one with a replaceable liner fabric one (which tells you you have to ask for a clean and a modern liner and a shower head that works because they won’t update it on their own), and the repair team left two sharp items on the floor as a failure of sweeping the floor after the repair. I brought them to the front counter and other than an apology there was no effort to remedy this (they asked me if I needed medical help after stepping on it). So, it’s nice…. But you have to ask for basics. They’ll come through and help but they’ll still miss the mark. I’d stay here again but I’d adjust expectations tremendously."

"The property is easy walking distance from Dupont Circle north station. The room was clean and well decorated. There is a wonderful seating/cafe dining area on the ground floor that includes a library, a sunroom, and an outdoor seating area. Every morning a wonderful european style breakfast is served including cheese, lunch meets, yogurt, hardboiled eggs, waffles, toast, jam, fruit, cereal and a variety of bread. Every evening at 5pm, a cheese and cracker with wine or coffee/tea is served for a nice pre-dinner appetizer when you return from being out fo the day. The inn is very relaxing and quaint in a neighborhood filled with embassies. The gold gym pass is also a plus. The inn is wonderful for vacation or business uses. "
